HAHIRA — One person is dead after a train struck a vehicle in Hahira, authorities said.  

According to the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Department, the incident occurred this morning at the intersection of Lawson Street and the train tracks. 

Traffic is currently blocked through the center of Hahira due to a stopped train.
