A cold morning didn’t stop runners from hitting the starting line for the 6th annual “Jog with the Generals” fundraiser at Georgia Christian School on Saturday in Dasher.

Around 130 total runners participated in a 5K, 10K and a 1-mile fun run that started in front of the elementary building and led them past the new Joe Virgil Dasher Middle School Building.

Parker Jackson, Bryce Jackson, and Colton Baldwin, each of Valdosta, were the top three finishers in the 5K. The top three in the 10K included: Ryan Kelly of Lake Park, Rick Mazurkiewicz of Valdosta, and Alan Sanderson of Valdosta.
