SOSMP to host Terry Cole Band, band-only Jam Audition

The Terry Cole Band will perform Saturday night at the Music Hall.

LIVE OAK — The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park is hosting a big weekend of music played by a group bands.

Starting off the weekend will be the Terry Cole Band on Friday. The weekend charges up Saturday when the third 2018 Suwannee River Jam Audition is held for bands only with as many as six bands auditioning.

The Terry Cole Band, a longtime favorite at the SOSMP, will rock the house Friday with country, Southern rock, classic rock, classics and hits from the 70s – 90s and more. The Terry Cole Band will move the audience’s feet regardless of musical taste.

Saturday night is the big band night for the Suwannee River Jam Audition. Only bands will be in the auditions starting at 7 p.m. Bands set to perform are Cole Tomlinson Band (Blackshear, Ga.), Snake Blood Remedy (O’Brien), Ricky Valido Band (Hialeah), Kellen Vincent Band (Lake City), Jack Michael Band (Punta Gorda) and perhaps one other band to be announced.

Doors to the Music Hall open at 6 p.m. with music Friday night from 8 p.m. – midnight. Saturday night the audition begins at 7 p.m. and lasts until the bands are chosen to go straight to the SRJ without further auditions.

Admission both nights is free.
