Titletown Wrestling Academy took four girl wrestlers to the 2018 Georgia girls state tournament at Emmanuel College. All four girls placed and three placed in the top three.

Kathrine Walker placed third in the high school — 160/170 division 

Cynthia Rowley placed third in the high school — 120 division 

Reyna Otano placed second in the 3rd-5th grade — 95/110 division 

Angelece DelVecchio placed fifth in the kindergarten-2nd-grade division

Girls wrestling is on the rise all over the country, Titletown is leading the charge in south Georgia with eight girl wrestlers currently training for future competitions.

“Our goal at Titletown is to create the first all-girl competition team from South Georgia to travel and compete throughout the state and the country,” said head coach Antonio DelVecchio.
