The movie will play on the authority’s 20-foot-wide inflatable screen, according to organizers. The film is the recently released live-action version starring Emma Watson and is rated PG.

The movie begins at sundown (about 6:45 p.m.) at Drexel Park located at the corner of Brookwood and Patterson Street.

There is no fee to enjoy the film and no registration necessary. The authority asks spectators to bring a blanket or lawn chairs. Picnics are welcome and light concessions will be sold.

This is the first of three Movie in the Park showings for the spring season.  The authority will show “Cars 3” Friday, March 23, at Scott Park, and will partner with Valdosta Main Street to show “Finding Dory” Saturday, April 21, in Downtown Valdosta.
