HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. — Mrs. Jerry Bennett Dennis of Hendersonville, N.C., is pleased to announce the engagement of her daughter, Catherine McKinley Dennis, to Walton Carter Coleman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Lowndes Coleman of Valdosta, Ga.
The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Mr. Jerry Bennett Dennis and the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Willard Pember and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Ivey Dennis, Jr. A 2010 graduate of Camden County High School, the future bride continued her education at Valdosta State University earning a Bachelor’s and then Master’s of Education in Communication Sciences and Disorders graduating in July of 2017. She is employed as a Speech-Language Pathologist with AmeriTherapy Services in Valdosta.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Walton Thomas Carter, Jr., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Theo Wade Coleman, all of Valdosta, Ga. A 2006 graduate of Valwood School, Carter continued his education at the University of Mississippi graduating in 2011 with a Risk Management and Insurance degree. He is employed by Blanton and Griffin in Valdosta as an Insurance Agent.
The wedding is planned for April 28, 2018, at Christ Episcopal Church in Valdosta, Ga.
