Senior Jade’ Carter scored five goals in the Valdosta girls soccer team’s 7-0 victory against Northside-Warner Robins in Warner Robins on Friday night.

Carter scored three first-half goals to lift the Wildcats out of a slow start and to a 3-0 halftime advantage. She added two more goals in the second half, while senior Jackie Escalera and freshman Maddy Metzler each chipped in a goal apiece.

The Wildcats picked up their second Region 1-6A win, improving their overall record to 8-1-1 and 2-0 in region play.
