May Modified Match Play is Friday, May 18. …Country Club Mondays are every third Monday of each month, offering chances to play South Georgia and North Florida country clubs. …Georgia Amateur Golf Promotions Players Championship is June 2-3 at Georgia Veterans Golf Club at Lake Blackshear Resort in Cordele. …The GAGP Amateur Open is June 23-24 at Country Oaks Golf Club in Thomasville. …The Amateur Open is July 28-29 at Meadow Links Golf Club at George T. Bagby State Park in Fort Gaines. …The GAGP Championship is Aug. 18-19 at Wallace Adams Golf Club at Little Ocmulgee State Park in McRae. …Golf Fest 2018, benefitting amateur and junior golf, is Aug. 3 at Arrow Head Pointe Golf Club in Elberton. It moves to Highland Walk at Victoria Bryant State Park in Royston on Aug. 10. The Aug. 17 event is at Hard Labor State Park in Social Circle. The Aug. 24 event is at Georgia Veterans Golf Club in Cordele. The Aug. 31 event is at Brazell’s Creek at Gordonia-Alatamaha State Park in Reidsville. The Sept. 7 event is at Wallace Adams at Little Ocmulgee State Park in McRae. The Sept. 14 event is at Lake Walker State Park in Waycross.
