DASHER – Georgia Christian School’s Rosa Alvarado was recently honored at a Leadership Lowndes graduation dinner at Quail Branch Lodge with several awards. 

The student body of Leadership Lowndes voted to award her the Barnabas Award for her work with the group, according to school officials. 

The board of Leadership Lowndes awarded Alvarado the Extra Helper Award and the Special Leader Award. She is a sophomore at Georgia Christian School. 

She is the daughter of Sam Alzheimer and Tomi McCain of Valdosta, according to school officials.
