The Legend of Korra

“The Legend of Korra” was a Nickelodeon animated series. It was a sequel to “Avatar: The Last Airbender.”

It is also a Dark Horse Comics title.

The comic book features the same characters as the show, drawn in a similar anime style.

The Free Comic Book Day edition, available at Kool Comics in Valdosta, presents a story that feels like an anime version of a “classic” Archie comic book.

In the story “Lost Pets,” Meelo learns he can care about something other than himself when he embarks on finding several Pokemon-type lost pets. Not only does he find the pets but he helps the man who has been watching them.

“The Legend of Korra” is a comic book for readers of all ages. It has fun characters, drawn in a bold cartoon manner, and the stories are filled with humor and the occasional moral, such as the one in “Lost Pets.”

The comic also promotes other “Last Airbender” and “Korra” titles.

A fun book for the young reader.
