Suwannee took home the district title on Tuesday. Drew Bozeman had the low round for the Bulldogs and also won the individual district championship. 

The Suwannee High boys golf team won the District 3-Class 2A Championship on Tuesday at Ironwood Golf Course.

Suwannee’s Drew Bozeman took home the individual title.

The Lafayette boys golf team finished district runner up in the Class 1A-District 7 Tournament at Quail Heights Country Club.

The Branford girls golf team was runner up in the Class 1A-District 7 Tournament at Quail Heights Country Club. 

Volleyball

The Suwannee High volleyball team defeated Godby on Tuesday in a district semifinal. SHS faces Wakulla on Thursday for the district title.

Lafayette won on Tuesday to advance to Thursday’s district championship. The Hornets will play Bell at Madison County High School. 

Hamilton County and Branford were both knocked out in district semifinal matches. 

Cross Country

The Suwannee cross country teams celebrated Senior Day on Tuesday with a win against Branford and Bradford.

Ricardo Cruz, Hunter Land and Jorge Soto finished in the top four for SHS while Billy Procko was Branford’s top runner. Suwannee’s district meet is Oct. 25 at Wakulla.
