VALDOSTA — The Georgia Department of Labor is partnering with the Georgia Department of Corrections to host a job fair later this month.

The event will be held Nov. 30 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Valdosta Career Center, 221 S. Ashley St., Valdosta. 

The Georgia Department of Corrections is looking to hire correctional officers for Valdosta State Prison.

Job seekers interested in attending this event can visit employgeorgia.com to create an account and upload or prepare a resume. Having an Employ Georgia account expedites the interview process. 

Applicants should bring their resumes, driver’s licenses and dress “business casual.
