VALDOSTA — Valdosta State head baseball coach Greg Guilliams announced the Blazer baseball team will host a prospect camp on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2019, at Billy Grant Field at Tommy Thomas Park.

The camp begins at 1 p.m., and is open to students in grades 8-12.

The camp provides an opportunity for interested student-athletes to showcase their skills in front of the Valdosta State baseball coaches.

Interested student-athletes can register for the camp by completing the registration form and bringing it on Jan. 2.

Players who participated in the Fall Academy do not need to bring the forms from the Parent Packet, since the information already is on file.

Schedule: 12:30 -1 p.m.     

Registration: 1:00-1:30 p.m.

Stretch and Throw: 1:30-2:30 p.m.

Pro-Style Skills Evaluation (Fielding, Throwing, Range, 60’s, POP Times, Bat Speed): 2:30-3:30 p.m.

Batting Practice and Bullpens: 3:30-3:40 p.m. 

Camp Wrap-Up Cost: $30 (No charge for all players that participated in the Fall Academy)
