LCSO arrests 21 suspects on drug charges

MAYO, Fla. — The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office arrested 21 suspects on various drug charges during a long-term drug investigation.
The charges include possession and sale of marijuana, distribution and sale of cocaine, possession and distribution of methamphetamine, trafficking synthetic narcotics and trafficking heroin.
“This investigation is another great example of the teamwork between local law enforcement officers and local citizens to keep our citizens safe,” Sheriff Brian Lamb said. “I am proud of the hard work of our deputies during the investigation.”
Lance C. Reid, a 29-year-old from Mayo, was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to sell within 1000 feet of worship/business (two counts), sale of marijuana within 1000 feet of worship/business (two counts), distribution of marijuana within 1000 feet of worship/business (two counts), possession of cocaine within 1000 feet of worship/business (two counts), sale of cocaine within 1000 feet of worship/business (two counts), distribution of cocaine within 1000 feet of worship/business (two counts), possession of opium or derivative within 1000 feet of worship/business, sale of opium or derivative within 1000 feet of worship/business and distribution of opium or derivative within 1000 feet of worship/business.
George Edward Wood, a 27-year-old from Mayo, was charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell, sale of methamphetamine and delivery/distribution of methamphetamine.
Wanda Gail Coverson, a 61-year-old from Mayo, was charged with possession of opium or derivative within 1000 feet of worship/business, distribution of opium or derivative within 1000 feet of worship/business and sale of opium or derivative within 1000 feet of worship/business.
Aaron Columbus Coverson, an 82-year-old from Mayo, was charged with possession of opium or derivative within 1000 feet of worship/business, distribution of opium or derivative within 1000’ feet of worship/business and sale of opium or derivative within 1000 feet of worship/business.
Jeremy Lynn Colding, a 40-year-old from Mayo, was charged with possession of synthetic narcotics over 10 grams with intent to sell (two counts), distribution of synthetic narcotics over 10 grams (two counts) and sale of synthetic narcotics over 10 grams (two counts).
Janet Elizabeth Thomas, a 64-year-old from Mayo, was charged with trafficking synthetic narcotics over 1000 grams, possession of synthetic narcotics over 10 grams with intent to sell, sale of synthetic narcotics over 10 grams, distribution of synthetic narcotics over 10 grams, attach registration license plate not assigned, operate motor vehicle without valid license, use of motor vehicle during commission of a felony and possession of a firearm during commission of a felony.
Paula Lynn Folsom, a 46-year-old from Mayo, was charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell (two counts), sale of methamphetamine (two counts) and delivery/distribution of methamphetamine (two counts).
Jamal Shavod Reid, a 29-year-old from Live Oak, was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to sell within 1000 feet of worship/business, distribution of cocaine within 1000 feet of worship/business and sale of cocaine within 1000 feet of worship/business.
Hal Lee Lewis Jr., a 36-year-old from Mayo, was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to sell within 1000 feet of worship/business (three counts), sale of cocaine within 1000 feet of worship/business (three counts), distribution of cocaine within 1000 feet of worship/business and possession of drug equipment (three counts).
Nichelle Rene Hall, a 38-year-old from Mayo, was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to sell within 1000 feet of worship/business, sale of cocaine within 1000 feet of worship/business, distribution of cocaine within 1000 feet of worship/business and possession of drug equipment.
Sherika Lashun McNeal, a 39-year-old from Mayo, was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to sell within 1000 feet of worship/business, sale of cocaine within 1000 feet of worship/business, distribution of cocaine within 1000 feet of worship/business and possession of drug equipment.
Jeremy Terrail Johnson, a 26-year-old from Mayo, was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to sell (two counts), sale of cocaine (two counts), distribution of cocaine (two counts) and possession of drug equipment.
Bobby Joe Harris, a 45-year-old from Mayo, was charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell within 1000 feet of worship/business (two counts), possession of methamphetamine, sale of methamphetamine within 1000 feet of worship/business (two counts), delivery/distribution of methamphetamine within 1000 feet of worship/business (two counts), possession of drug equipment (three counts) and possession of a firearm during commission of a felony.
Brenda Ann Demarais, a 36-year-old from Mayo, was charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell, manufacture or deliver, possession of marijuana less than 20 grams and possession of drug equipment.
Annette Oglesby Blake, a 56-year-old from Mayo, was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to sell within 1000 feet of worship/business (two counts), sale of cocaine with intent to sell within 1000 feet of worship/business (two counts), distribution of cocaine within 1000 feet of worship/business and possession of drug equipment (two counts).
Hal Lee Lewis Sr., a 59-year-old from Mayo, was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to sell within 1000 feet of worship/business, sale of cocaine within 1000 feet of worship/business and distribution of cocaine within 1000 feet of worship/business.
Jeremy Nolan Hall, a 41-year-old from Mayo, was charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell/manufacture/deliver, possession of drug equipment, possession of weapon/ammo by convicted felon, obstruction/resisting officer without violence, resisting officer flee/eluding leo with lights/siren active and out of county warrant.
Joshua Adam Janouski, a 40-year-old from Perry, Ga., was charged with trafficking methamphetamine 14 grams or over, possession of drug equipment, grand theft of motor vehicle and possession of weapon/ammo by convicted felon.
Cesar Chavez, a 21-year-old from Lehigh Acres, was charged with trafficking heroin less than 30 kilograms, possession of marijuana over 20 kilograms, possession of marijuana with intent to sell/manufacture/deliver, possession of controlled substance, smuggling contraband into prison, possession of drug equipment and driving with license suspended.
Guadalupe Garcia, a 22-year-old Moore Haven, was charged with trafficking heroin less than 30 kilograms, possession of marijuana over 20 kilograms, possession of marijuana with intent to sell/manufacture/deliver, possession of controlled substance, smuggling contraband into prison and possession of drug equipment.
Reginal Daniel Byrd, a 44-year-old from Mayo, has an active warrant and a current hold has been placed on him with another jail in connection with this investigation. He will be charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell, delivery/distribution of methamphetamine and sale of methamphetamine.
