Title Town Toastmasters: 6-7 p.m., Christ’s Fellowship Church, 417 Connell Road. Toastmasters International is a world leader in communication and leadership development. Valdosta Toasts members are part of a network of more than 345,000 members worldwide who meet regularly to improve their speaking and leadership skills.
Basic Computer Skills: 5:30-7:30 p.m., Wiregrass Georgia Technical College Valdosta Campus, 4089 Val Tech Road. This user-friendly abbreviated course will introduce students to basic computer skills needed in today’s world. Participants will learn the basic computer station components, keyboard and mouse basics, Windows basics, internet surfing, email basics, basic file management and more. The course length is four hours.

Kosher Corned Beef Sandwich Sale: 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Temple Israel, 511 Baytree Road. Temple Israel will have its annual Kosher corned beef sandwich sale March 22, 24 and 25 at Temple Israel. Tickets are $12 per sandwich and include a sandwich, pickle, chips, drink and a cookie. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Rotary Club’s Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. Other dates and times include 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday, March 24 and Monday, March 25.
LHS Off-Broadway presents Shakespeare’s Hamlet – Friday, March 22 and Saturday, March 23 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $8 each. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Downtown Valdosta Art Walk: 5-8 p.m., Downtown Valdosta. Due to the forecasted rain Friday, March 15, Valdosta Main Street has decided to postpone Art Walk to March 22. Enjoy a night out in the City Center Arts District with live music, artists and culinary demos, pop-up shops, DIY exhibits and more.

Artistic Exploration with Julie Skinner: 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Turner Center for the Arts, 527 N. Patterson St. In this monthly class, children will explore the unlimited possibilities in art. Each month’s session offers new content, materials, media and techniques that will help each young artist soar. Morning classes are from 10 a.m.-noon. This is for ages 5-7 and costs $15. Afternoon classes are from 1-3 p.m. This is for ages 8-12 and also costs $15. All supplies are included, and space is limited. Advanced payment is required. Machinist!, Livid and Grader: 8-11 p.m., Ashley Street Station, 607 Baytree Road. Doors open at 8 p.m., and the show starts at 9 p.m. Machinist! is a metal band from Valdosta, Livid is a hardcore group hailing from Wisconsin and local group Grader will play some rock.
Divorce and Dating Support Group: 4-5 p.m., South Georgia Regional Library, 2906 Julia Drive. This is a support group for all who are struggling in a relationship. It’s a dating know-how for all who are separated, divorced, widowed or never married that meets every Sunday. Newcomers always welcome to this free group.

Trivia Rama: 9-11 p.m., Bleu Pub, 116 W. Hill Ave. Every Monday, come down to the pub for random pop culture trivia. There are always drink and food specials, such as $1 PBR.
Monday Night Trivia: 7-9 p.m., the Salty Snapper, 1405 Gornto Road. It’s Monday Night Trivia with bartender and host Kennedy Broomberg. We’ll be giving away prizes for the top team and offering $1 oysters for everyone. We’ll also be running a wing special with a free pitcher of Natural Light with every order of 16 wings. Patterson St. Participants of this four-session course will learn how to describe what they see using graphite and charcoal methods on paper. Lowndes County Commission Meeting: 5:30-6 p.m., Lowndes County Courthouse, 327 N. Ashley St. The Lowndes County Board of Commissioners meets every second and fourth Tuesday of the month. Their work session is always the Monday before the meeting at 8:30 a.m. on the second floor. All residents are encouraged to attend. The meetings are open to the public and allow for public comments.

This meat and cheese board is ever-changing, and our experienced bar staff also hand selects four wines every Wednesday for a wine flight to pair with the board. A single tasting or a table tasting is available.

Customize it with an initial and laurel leaves. No woodworking experience is necessary to take this class. Ashlie will lead you every step of the way to create the project.
