As Valdosta grows, businesses open, move, renovate and close down. The following is a list of recent business happenings in Lowndes County and the surrounding area.

• Cinnaholic Gourmet Cinnamon Rolls, 1609 Norman Drive, Suite A2, is set to open April 26. It is a vegan-friendly restaurant. It will be open 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. 

• Belles and Beau, 404 Northside Drive, Suite H, held its grand opening April 20. The business specializes in items for children, ages 1-14 years old.

• Autry’s Bar-B-Que, 1809 S. Patterson St., has reopened.

• Lips and Lashes, an online business, is expected to open in mid May.

• Valdosta Stadium Cinemas, 1680 Baytree Road, completed its theater construction March 7. The theater is remodeling its main lobby. A dust wall has been put up that covers most of the lobby. The dust wall does not interfere with any of the theater’s retail products including popcorn.

REMERTON

• 1853 W. Gordon St. is under development for a mixed-use development that will feature multi-family residential and commercial properties. Apartments will be available for rent starting in fall.

• 1415 Baytree Road is under development for an indoor storage facility.
