LIVE OAK — Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park tribute band fans, it’s time for Fleetwood Max, a Fleetwood Mac tribute band, to rock the house Saturday.
This tribute band has toured the country paying tribute to Fleetwood Mac in a family friendly show. Opening for this tribute band will be 15-year-old artist Macey Mac. This dazzling weekend on the banks of the Suwannee River will also feature the exciting new band Fat Tractor on Friday.
For those that love these tribute band events, this is the next to the last tribute show for 2019. Tickets are still on sale until sold out at $15 per person at the SOSMP main office, by emailing spirit@musicliveshere.com or by calling 386-364-1683. Fleetwood Max is the country’s definitive Fleetwood Mac tribute band — an authentic recreation of the music, magic and incredible stage production of the legendary Stevie Nicks & Fleetwood Mac at the height of their careers from the Rumours album in 1977 to current touring set lists.
The Fleetwood Max experience captures the mystical atmosphere, look and sound of these Rock and Roll Hall of Famers with outstanding vocal and character performances. The band’s members are made up of some of the most respected, professional touring musicians on the East Coast. Each member is passionate about providing you the most accurate and personalized re-creation of the magic that is Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks. Band member Sharon Epperson, lead vocalist, is excellent as Stevie Nicks as she sings “Sara,” “Gypsy,” Rhiannon,” “Edge of Seventeen” and more and will have the audience believing she is Stevie Nicks.
Macey Mac, just 15, is a blues, jazz, country singer, Nashville song writer opening for Fleetwood Max on Saturday. This talented teen from Hattiesburg, Miss., lives in Ocala. She’s been on American Idol, won multiple talent shows, brought the house down at the global radio broadcast on the Sucarnochie Revue, headlined the Cotton Church Music & Arts Festival and was a Jam Audition winner in 2019. She has released one EP and works with Gypsy Carns (a legendary one-man band with two Grammy song writing nominations under his belt and 12 solo CDs) at festivals as well as several bands in the Ocala area.
