Mayo Woman’s Club learns about pilates, yoga

MAYO — Two Country Strong Gym instructors talked to the Mayo Woman’s Club last week about the positive effects of physical activity.

Denise Sanger and Melissa Keen attended the Woman’s Club meeting Sept. 10 and said physical activity benefits both physical and mental health.

Keen teaches pilates at the Mayo Country Strong Gym, while Sanger teaches yoga.

Keen and Sanger shared testimonies of their own that showed improvements to their health since beginning a physical routine, which Sanger refers to as Physical Fun Week Routine, as well as testimonies of others that have been shared with them throughout the years of being with Country Strong Gym.

Keen and Sanger also demonstrated both pilates and yoga to the Mayo Women’s Club.
