THOMASVILLE — Until the Thomas County/Thomasville Narcotics/Vice Division intervened, a Thomasville man was selling marijuana from his residence and his vehicle, according to the narcotics/vice chief.
For the past couple of weeks, undercover marijuana buys were made from Allen E. Johnson at his 501 N. Martin Luther King Drive residence, said Commander Louis Schofill.
“He also was selling from his vehicle at local businesses,” Schofill said, adding that Johnson has been arrested in the past for marijuana offenses.
While executing a search warrant at Johnson’s house, narcotics agents found a loaded .380 pistol under a pillow in a bedroom, where officers also found three ounces of marijuana.
Schofill said a woman who lives at the residence, 32-year-old Jasmine Rene’ Clark, purchased the firearm a couple of weeks ago.
Clark is charged with marijuana possession with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
Johnson, 31, is charged with the same offense, in addition to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
