Tifton The Singing Cookes Headline 34th Annual Williams Birthday Gospel Sing Feb. 17

NASHVILLE, Ga. — The Singing Cookes of Kingsport, Tenn. will be headlining the 34th Annual Williams Birthday Gospel Sing to be held at A’Neway Baptist Baptist Church, located at 488 Allenville Road, Nashville, Ga. The sing will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17, 2023. Doors will open at 5 p.m. 

The Gospel Sing will also feature:

– Dallas Rodgers, former tenor singer for The Inspirations Quartet along with Singer/Songwriter, Joyce Croft of Valdosta. 

Vieterian local singers New Tradition of Nashville, Ga.

– Singer Steve Meders of Sparks, Ga. 

The Singing Cookes have been singing over 60 years and are noted for songs  such as “I want us to be together in Heaven”, He Rolls Me Over the Tide” and “I Hope We Walk The Last Mile Together” and many more great Gospel Songs. They have had many songs in the top 40 in the Singing News through the years. They will thrill you with their spirit and excitement in the way they present the Gospel in song. They are a family group and have fantastic harmony. 

Former tenor Singer Dallas Rodgers of The Inspirations Quartet will also be featured. He has been singing for several years and does a great job on his solo songs; You will enjoy his wonderful tenor voice. 

Joyce Croft will also be featured. She and her late husband  have written over 5,000 songs in Southern Gospel Music. Many of the major groups in the Gospel Music industry have recorded their songs. Songs such as “Is that Footsteps That Hear”, The  First Million Years”, “I Believe When He Died He  Died For Me” and “I Can’t Even Walk Without You Holding My Hand”. She has a beautiful voice and her piano style is just wonderful.

Also on program will be our friends New Tradition of Nashville, Ga. Their ministry has been going on for 33 years and they do a great job singing both the old and new songs of the Gospel.

This year we have a new singer added to our list of  singers. Steve Meders of Sparks, Ga. He is a man  who does a great job singing and has a wonderful testimony of how God touched him and healed him.

This sing is to honor Rev. Ken Williams and pays tribute to the late Rev. R.V. Williams of Adel, Ga. Rev. R.V. Williams was a pastor in the area for over 50 years. Ken, his son continues to pay tribute to his father’s memory by having this ole time Gospel Sing every year to remember their birthdays by old Time Gospel Singing. Rev Mike Bennett is Pastor of A’Neway Baptist Church.

There will be some surprises at this sing. Please don’t miss this wonderful time in the Lord. There is no admission to the sing but a Love Offering will be taken.
