- Submitted Photo | Travis Page The Page Brothers have made a name for themselves throughout the Georgia-Florida region with their signature classic-rock infused blues sound.
Born and raised in South Georgia, brothers Dakota and Travis Page plan to let their southern roots show during Downtown Valdosta’s inaugural Bluesberry Festival. They will perform Saturday, April 15 at 4 p.m.
While very blues based, they said they implement influences of classic soul, southern rock ‘n roll and anything Americana.

From an early age, they took an interest in music. Travis began to learn the guitar, and Dakota took to it not long after. Writing lyrics and melodies came more naturally to Dakota while Travis focused a bit more on the guitar. Needless to say, they were a songwriting duo from the start.
After honing in their skills and playing in the garage through middle school, they started to get serious throughout their high school days and play out more eventually working into making it a career.
After various iterations of band lineups they found two seasoned musicians for their rhythm section and have held a solid bond ever since making a name for themselves all across the state of Georgia and northern Florida.
They released a concept E.P. “Blood on the Bible Belt” in late 2020. A collection of 6 songs that share themes of they describe as “rough, ramblin’ outlaw life”.
Even in the short time since it was released, they’ve evolved in their sound and are in the process of writing and recording a full length album that makes a statement and truthfully represents The Page Brothers Band.
“Being heavy into the blues, we are extremely excited that Valdosta is doing something to celebrate such an influential and important style of music,” they said.
