Valdosta chapter of Jack & Jill of America to host inaugural Sneaker Ball

VALDOSTA — The Valdosta Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. will hold its inaugural Sneaker Ball, a fun-filled event aimed at supporting the Jack and Jill Foundation, on March 9 at 1901 Barack Obama Blvd.
To accommodate the diverse age groups within our community, the Sneaker Ball will be held in two sessions. The first session, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., is tailored for children aged 2 to 12 years old. The second session, from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., is designed for children aged 13 years and up.
All proceeds from the event will go towards supporting TEACH Outreach Ministries and other 501 C 3 nonprofits throughout the community, according to a press release from the Valdosta Chapter. The chapter said it is dedicated to making a positive impact on local children and charities.

Chapter President Tangela Kimber emphasized the significance of this event, stating, “The Inaugural Sneaker Ball is not just a celebration; it’s a meaningful contribution to the well-being of our local children and the charities that support them. Jack and Jill Mom Janee’ Jackson, chair of the Foundation Committee for the local chapter, added, “This event is a testament to our commitment to community upliftment. By coming together for a night of celebration, we are creating lasting positive impacts on the lives of children and supporting the valuable work of TEACH Outreach Ministries and other local nonprofits.”
