Tifton: Local Businesswoman Elected Rotary District Governor 2026-2027

St. Simons Island, Ga. — Beverly Trainor has been elected District Governor for Rotary District 6920 for 2026-2027. District 6920 includes 60 clubs and over 2800 members across Southeastern Georgia, stretching from Augusta to Fernandina and as far west as Macon.
As District Governor, she will oversee all clubs in the district and will provide leadership and supervision to further the Object of Rotary. “Beverly has continually demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and has dedicated time and resources serving others in her community. Our Rotary District is proud to have her lead us,” said Heather A. Kellen, Immediate Past District Governor D6920.

Ms. Trainor has been a member of the St. Simons Rotary Club for the past 13 years, holding various Board positions including Club President. At the District level, she has served as Chair of Saving Lives with Medicine, a member of the Rotary Youth Leadership Award Steering Committee, and – most recently – was recognized as an Emerging Leader.
Beverly is a Paul Harris Sustaining Member and a Paul Harris Society Member. In March 2023, she was named District Rotarian of the Month.
Beverly is a Financial Advisor with Champion & Magbee Financial Services/Raymond James, St. Simons. She has served on 12 nonprofit boards including Keep Golden Isles Beautiful, United Way Community Leadership Council, President Amity House and VP/Treasurer Symphony Society of Coastal Georgia.
She holds a Broker Series 7 license, a Financial Advisor Series 66 and is a licensed insurance agent. Beverly holds a Bachelor of Science Business Administration in Finance, Summa Cum Laude.
