— 5 Below, a discount store targeted at teens and young adults, is coming to Valdosta. A construction notice for the new shop was posted at the site of the former Children’s Place at the Valdosta Mall.

— There will soon be one fewer places in Lowndes County to shop for antiques. The Old Stuff Thrift Shop in Lake Park is going out of business.
