“During storms and other times, the team is always there getting the lights on for our communities. Working with Toni Reid, Georgia Power Tifton area manager, to set this appreciation lunch up has been great. Toni and I along with Lynda serve on the Tifton Tifton-Tift County Chamber of Commerce Board and have been able to build a strong relationship,” Pye said. “ The three of us are always looking for ways to support our community.”

Addressing the group, Turner said, “We appreciate our linemen for what you do every day.”

Likewise Jones shared similar comments. “If there is anything we can do to support you, let me know. We know this is a tough job and appreciate all that you do.”

We are all so much better together.”

Lineworker Appreciation Month falls during the month of April every year.
