VALDOSTA — A deposit account fraud presentation, hosted May 15 by the Valdosta-Lowndes Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with Ameris Bank and the SEEDS Program, attracted numerous local business owners, all eager to learn effective strategies to safeguard their enterprises against deposit fraud.
Jennifer Reese, treasury services officer with Ameris Bank, provided attendees with invaluable knowledge on identifying potential fraud threats and implementing proactive measures to protect their businesses, according to a press release from the chamber.
The Valdosta-Lowndes Chamber of Commerce, Ameris Bank, and the SEEDS Program remain committed to supporting local businesses through educational initiatives and collaborative efforts, the press release said.
