The child was taken to SGMC, where he was treated and released.

Officers determined that the child’s father was driving north on Bemiss Road with his three children in the back seat in child car seats; as he turned left onto Inner Perimeter, the back door of the car opened and the 2-year-old fell out and landed on the roadway, still in the car seat, police said.

Warrants were taken out for Frank Feacher, 19, of Valdosta on charges of misdemeanor reckless conduct, misdemeanor driving while license is suspended and misdemeanor child restraint not used properly; he was arrested without incident at his home, the police statement said.
