…A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN JEFF DAVIS AND

NORTHWESTERN APPLING COUNTIES THROUGH 715 PM EDT…

At 642 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near

Graham, moving east at 10 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts of 45 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around

unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is

possible.

Locations impacted include…

Baxley, Hazlehurst, Graham, Plant Hatch, and Pine Grove.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
