VALDOSTA — The City of Valdosta announced Monday afternoon that its offices will be closed Tuesday due to the continuing impact of Tropical Storm Debby.

This closure includes the cancellation of the scheduled work session and called meeting previously announced for Tuesday. Essential workers will continue to report as needed to ensure critical services are maintained, the city said.

“The safety of our residents and employees is our top priority,” the city said in a press release. “We encourage everyone to take necessary precautions and stay informed through local weather updates.”
