VALDOSTA — Lonnie O’Neal wraps up a special event for him Saturday at Wheeler Lake at Huntsville, Alabama.

At 72, O’Neal, a Valdosta native, has qualified for the Toyota Series Championship. He has made it here after more than 20 years of fishing professionally.
