Covington’s recognized as Leading Business of the Week

VALDOSTA — Covington’s, a family-owned catering and event planning business and restaurant located at 310 N. Patterson St. in Valdosta, has been named Leading Business of the Week by the Valdosta-Lowndes Chamber of Commerce. Founded in January 1992, Covington’s has providing catering services for weddings, corporate events, family gatherings, and meals for those in need for 32 years.
Covington’s is the longest-operating restaurant in downtown Valdosta.
Paula Ramey, operations manager, said, “Why do I love working at Covington’s? It’s the people. It’s the people I work with and the people in the community we have the opportunity to meet and serve. Sue Cox set the standards, and we strive to fulfill them every day.”
The business is also in the process of launching a new website to showcase its curated event tableware, linens, and bars.
