VALDOSTA —  The top-ranked and top-seeded Valdosta State football team will host No. 4-seed Miles College on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2024, at 1 p.m., at Bazemore-Hyder Stadium in the second round of the NCAA Division II Football playoffs.

As a reminder, Blazer season-ticket holders have until Monday, Nov. 25, 2024, to purchase their tickets for the playoffs, before they are released to the public. Non-season ticket holders can purchase tickets online until Friday, Nov. 29. The Blazer Athletic Ticket Office will be open the week of Thanksgiving only on Monday, Nov. 25 and Tuesday, Nov. 26.

Reserved seats for the playoffs are $20, while adult general admission tickets are $12 and youth/senior tickets are $8. There will be no military discount for the postseason. Tickets can be purchased by calling 229-333-SEAT (7328) or online by clicking here.

The Blazers (10-0, 6-0 Gulf South Conference) won their 11^th conference title and marked their fifth undefeated regular season in program history. VSU earned the top-seed and first round bye, while Miles edged No. 24 Carson-Newman Saturday afternoon 14-13 for its first NCAA postseason victory (0-2) to advance to the second round.

Miles improved to 10-2 on the year following the win over Carson-Newman and the Golden Bears went 8-0 in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) winning the conference title.

On the other side of the regional, Lenoir-Rhyne upset No. 3-seed West Alabama, 37-34 and Virginia Union won at No. 2-seed Wingate 34-31 in overtime. Lenoir-Rhyne and Virginia Union will meet next Saturday at a location and time to be determined.
