Mobile Disaster Recovery Centers open in Burke, Clinch and Dodge counties; Cook County center reopens

ATLANTA – FEMA Mobile Disaster Recovery Centers are open in Burke, Clinch and Dodge counties – and the recovery center in Cook County has reopened — to give survivors another option to get help applying for federal assistance, receive updates on their applications and learn about the appeals process. All recovery centers will be closed in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday Thursday, Nov. 28, and Friday, Nov. 29. The centers’ regular hours are as follows:
Burke County
8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday, Nov. 25, through Saturday, Dec. 7 (except Nov. 28 and 29).
Burke County Public Library: 130 GA-24 South, Waynesboro, GA 30830.
Clinch County
8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday, Nov. 25, through Saturday, Dec. 7 (except Nov. 28 and 29).
Clinch County Elementary School: 575 Wood Lake Drive, Homerville, GA 31634.
Dodge County
8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday, Nov. 25, through Saturday, Dec. 7 (except Nov. 28 and 29).
Public Safety Building: 440 Legion Drive, Eastman, GA 31023.
Cook County
8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 25, through Saturday, Nov. 30 (except Nov. 28 and 29).
Cook Farm Service Agency: 204 East 9th St. Adel, GA 31620.
Survivors also may visit any one of FEMA’s Disaster Recovery Centers throughout the state to apply for assistance.
