Susan J. Eischeid | Submitted photo: Meet Lauren, a super sweet young bulldog mix with a bashful spirit. Lauren takes treats gently and loves a good tummy rub. Her coat is a pretty faun color and she is already spayed so can go home today.

Adoption fee for dogs is $125 and for cats is $105. All animals are fully up to date on inoculations. Animals for adoption are available at Lowndes County Animal Shelter, 337 Gil Harbin Blvd., Valdosta.
