VALDOSTA — No one was injured in a Tuesday night house fire in Valdosta.

Around 5:17 p.m., firefighters headed to a structure fire at 3018 Will Drive, a Valdosta Fire Department statement said.

Heavy smokes and flames were coming from a single-family residence. The family had safely gotten out of the home and no injuries were reported, the statement said.

The American Red Cross aided five people who were displaced; the Valdosta Police Department and South Georgia Health EMS assisted.
