VALDOSTA — The Southside Library Booster organization will present the Annual “KWANZAA Celebration” at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10. The program will be held at McMullen-Southside Library, located at 527 Griffin Ave.
The program will include presentation of the 7 Principles of KWANZAA and reasons to “celebrate the occasion”; African cultural drummers and dancers; musical selections by the VECA Chorus; “spoken” word presentations; and an African attire fashion show preview. Soul food dishes will be available at the close of the program.
Admission is free, and the program is open to the public.
