Echols sheriff’s office seeks public’s help to find missing woman

STATENVILLE — The Echols County Sheriff’s Office wants the public’s help in locating a missing disabled woman.
Stella Boldin Lindsey, 80, was last seen around 8:30 a.m. Thursday, according to a sheriff’s office statement.
She was described as being a white female, 5-feet-5-inches high, weighing 100 lbs. with blue eyes and white shoulder-length hair. She was wearing a gray hat, purple trenchoat, a gray sweater, dark pants, a shirt and shoes.
She may be traveling in a silver 2017 Chevy Trax with a Florida tag BF63DY, the sheriff’s office said.
A statewide “Mattie’s Call” alert has been issued for Lindsey.
Authorities released both a picture of Lindsey and the car they are searching for.
