Broyles selected as Rotary district governor

VALDOSTA — Valdosta North Rotarian Danny Broyles has been selected by the District Governor Nominating Committee to serve as district governor for Rotary District 6920 during the 2027-2028 Rotary year.
Broyles, an active member of Rotary, brings extensive leadership experience to his new role. A former club president, he has served on numerous boards at both the club and district levels. Broyles holds the position of area governor. He is a Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI) graduate, District Emerging Leader, Paul Harris Fellow and member of both the Paul Harris Society and Bequest Society.
As district governor, Broyles will lead approximately 3,000 members across 73 clubs in Rotary District 6920, which spans central, south-central, southeast, and coastal Georgia. His focus will be on advancing Rotary’s mission to foster community service, promote peace and strengthen fellowship among members.
Rotary District 6920 is part of Rotary International, a global organization of 1.4 million members dedicated to addressing pressing humanitarian challenges. The district’s clubs are committed to improving their communities and contributing to international service projects.
