Fire displaces Valdosta family

VALDOSTA — Three people were left homeless by a fire early Tuesday in Valdosta.
Around 3:09 a.m., firefighters headed out on a call about a structure fire at 1324 Willow Way, a Valdosta Fire Department statement said.
They found heavy smoke and flames coming from the roof. Fire crews brought the blaze under control and rescued two dogs from the home. No injuries were reported, the statement said.
An adult and two children were displaced by the fire; the American Red Cross was contacted to help the family.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
