VALDOSTA — The City of Valdosta’s Stormwater Division will temporarily close Barack Obama Boulevard next week.

Crews plan to regrade roadside ditches to enhance stormwater management in the area, the city said in a press release Friday afternoon.

The road will be closed between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. daily Monday through Wednesday.

Drivers are encouraged to plan alternative routes and exercise caution near the work zone, the City said.
