— Valdosta’s loss is Thomasville’s gain: After nine years in business, Woodstack BBQ Tavern on North Valdosta Road will close on Jan. 1 as its owners move the restaurant to Thomas County. — There’s another option in town for beauty supplies. Empire Hair and Beauty Supply has opened at 1715 Norman Drive.
