STATENVILLE — A disabled woman reported missing in Echols County was found safe, authorities said.

Stella Boldin Lindsey, 80, had last seen around 8:30 a.m. Dec. 5, according to a sheriff’s office statement.

A statewide “Mattie’s Call” alert was issued for Lindsey.

Authorities released both a picture of Lindsey and a car they were searching for in connection with her disappearance.

The sheriff’s office said in a Facebook posting that she has been found safe.
