University of North Georgia announces president’s lists for Fall 2024

DAHLONEGA — University of North Georgia President Michael P. Shannon recognized students who achieved a 4.0 GPA during the fall 2024 semester. Students enrolled in 12 or more credit hours in bachelor’s degree programs who achieved a 4.0 grade point average were named to the president’s Honor Roll. Students enrolled in associate degree or dual enrollment programs who met the same level of achievement were named to the president’s list.

Area students include:

Hahira: Eliza Shiver.

Valdosta: Ashley Arizmendi, Bailey Bates, Ansley Carter, Erin Halter.

 

University of North Georgia announces dean’s lists for Fall 2024

DAHLONEGA —  The deans of each of the University of North Georgia’s colleges announced the names of those students who made their respective lists for Fall 2024.

Dean’s List recognition is achieved by having at least a 3.5 grade point average, carrying 12 or more credit hours in one semester and having no grade lower than B.

Area students include:

Hahira: Hayden Hall.

Pavo: Cameron Jones.

Quitman: Frank Duarte.

 

Piedmont University Congratulates Students on the Fall Semester Dean’s List

DEMOREST — Nearly 260 students qualified for the dean’s list for the fall 2024 semester at Piedmont University. Dean’s list honorees end the semester with a GPA of 3.50-3.99.

Area students include:

Valdosta: Ileynaret Brooks, Laurana Layton.

Pavo: Tamia Johnson.

 

University of North Georgia confers degrees for fall 2024 graduates

DAHLONEGA —  For the fall 2024 semester, the University of North Georgia awarded more than 900 degrees and certificates to graduates. More than 650 of the graduates participated in the fall 2024 commencement ceremonies held Dec. 7 at the Convocation Center at UNG’s Dahlonega Campus.

Grady Colson of Hahira (31632) graduated with a Bachelor of Science in psychology.

Eliza Shiver of Hahira (31632) graduated with a Bachelor of Science in biology.

 

Neely Earns Piedmont University dean’s list Honor

DEMOREST—  Angelique Neely of Valdosta,  is among nearly 260 Piedmont University students who earned a GPA of 3.50-3.99 to qualify for the dean’s list for the Fall 2024 semester.

Cassidy Gilbert Earns dean’s list Honor at Lee University

CLEVELAND, Tenn. —  Cassidy Gilbert of Lake Park earned dean’s list honors during the fall 2024 semester at Lee University.

Dean’s list recognition is earned by full-time, undergraduate students with a semester grade point average between 3.7 and 4.00.
