Lowndes Vikette Kaci Demps scored her 1,000th career point Friday night in the Lee County Girls Showcase as Lowndes won the tournament with a 72-38 victory over Colquitt County. Demps earned MVP with Bryanna Thomas also being named All-Tournament. Lowndes’ next game is the Region 1-6A opener at Tift County on Jan. 4, 2025.
