Richardson celebrates 40 years in education

Dr. Janice Richardson, an educator who has dedicated 40 years to students in Valdosta City Schools, was honored with a black-tie event at the Rainwater Conference Center recently.
Richardson was the first African American female principal of Valdosta High School.
Guests at the event included family, friends, colleagues, and former students, all gathered to celebrate Dr. Richardson’s legacy and contributions to the Valdosta school system.
