DASHER — The Georgia Christian varsity basketball teams faced off against Citizens Christian in a night of intense action and unforgettable moments. While the Lady Generals fought valiantly, they were unable to pull off the upset, falling short despite their relentless effort on the court.

The boys’ team, however, delivered an instant classic, securing a dramatic 94-91 victory in a quadruple-overtime battle against CCA. The game had fans on the edge of their seats from start to finish, with heart-stopping plays and an incredible display of endurance from both teams.

One of the most electrifying moments came from Anthony Alaniz, who drained a buzzer-beater to send the game into double overtime. His clutch shot ignited the crowd and propelled the Generals to keep fighting through the marathon matchup.

With this victory, the Generals continue to show their potential this season. They next host Grace Christian on Thursday, January 16th, where they’ll aim to build on this momentum.
