VALDOSTA — The Region 1-6A girls final has been set. Lowndes will take on Colquitt County Friday at 7 p.m. at Camden County.

No. 2-seed Lowndes won their way into the championship with a 45-34 contest against No. 3 Richmond Hill. No. 4 Colquitt upset No. 1 Camden, 50-45.

The win semifinals win guarantees the Vikettes at least one home game next week in the Class 6A state tournament.
