Minor fire at Pinevale Elementary School put out

VALDOSTA — A minor fire at Pinevale Elementary School was put out Tuesday.
The fire was inside a school restroom, a Valdosta City Schools statement said.
The fire was extinguished and all students and staff were safe and accounted for, the statement said. As of noon, the Valdosta Fire Department and the Valdosta Police Department remained on site, the school system said.
Classes were ongoing, according to the statement.
