SGMC Health welcomes Early as director of supply chain

VALDOSTA — SGMC Health is pleased to welcome David Early as its new director of supply chain. Early brings a wealth of experience in supply chain services and operations, including more than 18 years in healthcare supply chain management and a background in manufacturing supply chain services.
As director, Early will oversee all aspects of purchasing, receiving, and value analysis for SGMC Health, ensuring the organization maintains efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality supply chain operations, the health system said in a press release. His leadership will play a critical role in enhancing supply chain efficiencies, optimizing costs, and ensuring team members have the necessary resources to provide exceptional patient care.
“I’m truly excited to step into this role at SGMC Health because I see a tremendous opportunity,” said Early. “Supply chain plays a critical role in healthcare, ensuring that clinicians have the right resources at the right time, and I’m eager to bring my expertise in operations and support services to strengthen these processes.”
Early holds a Master of Healthcare Administration and a Master of Business Administration from Georgia State University and a bachelor’s degree in organizational management from Covenant College. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), demonstrating his commitment to excellence in healthcare leadership.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Early is married to Beth, and together, they have three children.
