The momentous occasion was made possible by the dedication and hard work of GCS alumnus CJ Lynch. In recognition of his efforts, Lynch had the honor of throwing the ceremonial first pitch, making the night even more special for the Generals.
GCS celebrated the inaugural night game, hosting Open Bible and securing a commanding 18-0 victory. The game ended in the third inning.
The new lights mark a significant step forward for Georgia Christian’s baseball program, enhancing the game day experience for players and fans alike. The school community extends its deepest gratitude to Lynch for his commitment to making this long-held dream a reality.
The Generals continued their impressive play on Tuesday, March 4, when they hosted Crisp Academy, securing another dominant victory by winning 10-0 in the fifth inning. Not only is its their second straight run-rule win, but also GCS’ second consecutive no-hitter.
